Retreats and Courses

Retreats and Events at Contemplative Outreach Pittsburgh

We just finished a wonderful weekend retreat on Saint Hildegard of Bingen - we are grateful to Dr. Susan Muto for two wonderful conferences that were guided by 2 questions: What does Hildegard have to teach us 1. about the contemplative path, 2. about the need to integrate the visionary guidance from the Holy Spirit into service of community and the church?

With Centering Prayer throughout the day, conferences to explore how these two questions connect with our lives, opportunities for sharing, and silent private time, this was a rich time for everyone.

Topics of retreats in recent years include The Triple path of Illumination (with Dr. Susan Muto), The Welcoming Prayer (with Jim MCcElroy) and the Forgiveness Prayer (with Mary Dwyer)
